Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) - Red Algae
Derived from red algae known as Irish Moss (Chondrus Crispus), Carrageenan is a gel with excellent emollient properties.

Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid)
Extremely moisturizing to the skin. Natural moisturizing polysaccharide present in the skin. Is known to hold 100x its weight in water.

Vitis Vinifera (Grape) Seed Oil
The seed of the grape plant (Vitis vinifera) yields a fine textured, linoleic-rich oil which has been shown to have strong antioxidant properties. Grapeseed Oil is also one of several plant emollients to help moisturize.

Retinyl Palmitate
A combination of retinol and palmitic acid, it is a form of vitamin A. Retinyl palmitate has also been known to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Ginkgo Biloba Extract
An extract of Ginkgo Biloba. A sacred tree of the Chinese.

Squalane
Squalane is a natural emollient obtained from olives that makes skin feel softer. It forms a thin layer on the skin, helping to prevent moisture loss.

Aloe Barbadensis (Aloe Vera) Leaf Juice
Contains over 200 substances, including 20 minerals, 20 amino acids, 12 vitamins, and active enzymes.
